Need Help?

St. Luke UMC offers many resources and opportunities to help members and people in our community. If you need support or would like to volunteer to help provide support, we've got you covered.

Bereavement

Bereavement services that are available to St. Luke members and their families include:

  • Calls from our Congregational Care Pastor
  • Consultations with families on service arrangements
  • Notifications to church leadership about bereavements
  • Preparation of resolutions
  • Insertion of bereavement notices in our bi-monthly newsletters
  • Mention of bereavements during Sunday worship celebrations

Prayer Lists

St. Luke publishes two types of prayer lists in our newsletters:

  • Homebound, Hospitalized, Special Medical Care
  • Prayer Concerns (not limited to members)

The prayer lists are not limited to church members only; members can add anyone to the list.

To notify the church of a bereavement or to add a name to a prayer list, please contact Ellen Martin at 214.887.3922 or [email protected].
