CAREER DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY To provide resources to the community of god’s people by providing resource support in which one Can complete an active work search for employment.
ACADEMIC SKILLS REINFORCEMENT- TUTORING Provides support to students in the area of tutoring, specialized testing, and preparation for standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, TASS, etc.
HEALTH & WELFARE MINISTRY We believe that God cares about bodies and our health; more specifically, we believe that God desires us to care for our bodies and our health. Thus, the Health and Welfare Ministry provides preventive health education seminars that are open to both church members and members of the broader community. The ministry is also staffed and equipped to provide emergency medical services (should the need arise).
SWING N2 FITNESS Mission Statement: To Share Christ blessings through Fitness, Fellowship, and Service to those in need.
Vision Statement: To Continue to grow & reach out to the greater community by providing our services while expressing the importance to physical fitness.
Swing N2 Fitness class developed through and from our Annual Church Outing in 2008. All proceeds from the class benefit the Breadbasket Ministry. The course is open to the church and community. Those attending are asked to bring donations for the Breadbasket Ministry in the form of canned goods or small monetary donation. Swing Out Dance Classes Held each Monday 6:30 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. Classes held in the D.B.Holmes Fellowship Hall.
HIV/AIDS Ministry The AIDS Ministry works in collaboration with the AIDS Interfaith Network. The volunteers are responsible for supporting AIDS patients through prayer, friendship, hands-on help, and spiritual sharing.

Owenwood HOA- Owenwood Neighborhood monthly meetings every first Monday at 6 pm
HOMELESS MINISTRY We believe that Gospel calls us to demonstrate apparent concern and care for the least of these. We believe that homeless clearly included amongst the least of these. We minister to the homeless by providing food, clothing, and other assistance as needed.
LOAVES & FISHES MINISTRY Serves the homeless and hungry via monthly meals and the provision of unique holiday gifts and meals. Meals are served every fourth Saturday at the Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Center, located in South Dallas.

SOCIAL JUSTICE
POLITICAL – SOCIAL ACTION MINISTRY The Political-Social Action Ministry (P-SAM) accepts the responsibility to inform, engage, motivate, and mobilize the St. Luke family and the wider community in the ways of justice; keeping the words of the Lord as given to the prophet Micah as our guide…to do justice, to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God.
YEAR ROUND ANGEL TREE(PRISON MINISTRY)
JAIL/PRISON MINISTRY Provides spiritual support services for individuals who incarcerated in the Texas criminal justice system. Visits inmates on the first Sundays of every month. The Jail Ministry also implements and supervises the Angel Tree Program to address the needs of children whose parents incarcerated
